DORMITORY OF THE INDUSTRIAL COLLEGE
Kamianets-Podilskyi

Area: total — 2450 m2. For IDPs — approximately 1600 m2.
Capacity: up to 200 IDPs
Budget: USD 200.000
Progress: 90%
Status: repair started, partially inhabited by IDPs.
We are arranging this CO-HATY facility in the dormitory of the Industrial College in Kamianets-Podilskyi. The building is state-owned by the Ministry of Education and is on the balance sheet of the college.
We plan to dismantle and redevelop the living areas and renovate the utilities — heating, electricity, water supply, and sewage. We also plan to carry out plastering and painting works, repair floors and doors, replace windows, and equip kitchens and bathrooms. Potentially, we will also replace furniture.
We are going to renovate 64 living rooms. In addition, the residents will have common spaces in the form of kitchens and dining rooms, additional showers and toilets, and a laundry room.
Financial support for the project is provided by the German Federal Foreign Office in partnership with the humanitarian organization Sign of Hope, Rockada CF, the humanitarian organization MedAir, the UNHCR, and the NGO LeaveNoOneBehind.
